Peyton Manning Has Finally Revealed the Meaning Behind 'Omaha'
Remember how PEYTON MANNING would always yell "Omaha" at the line of scrimmage?
Well, he's finally explaining what it meant, and naturally, it has nothing to do with how beautiful Omaha, Nebraska is in the fall. He says, quote, "'Omaha' was just an indicator word. It was a trigger word that meant we'd changed the play, there was low time on the clock, and the ball needed to be snapped right now.”
Peyton doesn't have any direct connections to Omaha, but his chant made him popular there. He says, quote, "I'm a big deal [there], now. I went there a couple of years ago. I got a key to the city. I've always got Omaha if I need a place to live."
This Ain’t No Normal Gated Community
KATY PERRY just paid $19-million bucks for a five bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom mega mansion which sits on 5,427-square feet inside a very safe gated community.
Her neighbors include ADELE, NICOLE KIDMAN and CAMERON DIAZ.
Sandra Bullock Gave $5,000 to a Homeless Former Swimming Pool Manager
SANDRA BULLOCK threw $5,000 into a GoFundMe campaign for an 86-year-old, homeless, former hotel pool manager.
His name is Svend Petersen, and he managed the pool at the Beverly Hills Hotel for 40 years, going back to the days of stars like Marilyn Monroe, Cary Grant, Faye Dunaway, Fred Astaire, and Katherine Hepburn.
Apparently, he got swindled, and ended up homeless and in trouble with the IRS. The GoFundMe was supposed to raise $5,900, but it's already over $63,000, including Sandra's 5-large.
