Man Sues Woman For Texting During Their First Date

A Texas man is suing a woman for texting during their date at a movie theater.

37-year old Brandon Vezmar is asking for $17.31 in the lawsuit.  That’s the price of one 3D movie ticket for “Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2.”

Brandon says he bought tickets for himself and his date to see the movie on May 6th, but the woman texted 10 to 20 times during the first 15 minutes of the film. The woman eventually left the theater when he asked her to stop, leaving Brandon without a ride.

He said he texted her a few days later asking for the price of the ticket, but she refused to pay it. Brandon said he filed the lawsuit because the woman is a “threat to civilized society.”

The 35-year-old woman, reached by phone Tuesday, said she didn’t know about the claim against her. “Oh my God,” she said. “This is crazy.”

Dr. Cheerleader!

Think all doctors are stodgy folks that just want to lecture you about cholesterol and exercise?

Think again!  Dr. CHIUFANG HWANG is a serious football fan that's tried out to be a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader a dozen times since way back in 1999.

The brainy beauty clocks in at 51-years-old, admits she's never made to the finals and is downright religious about preparation --she eats 12-hundred calories a day from September through May, hires a choreographer and memorizes a routine.

The good doctor says she'll keep at it as long as "no one questions my age or ability" and hopes to be an icon and role model.

A Kid Needs Emergency Surgery After Swallowing a Piece of a Fidget Spinner

A toy doesn't truly become a fad until it almost kills a kid.  I guess that moment has arrived for the FIDGET SPINNERS.

A 10-year-old girl named Britton Joniec in Houston, Texas was in her mom's car on Saturday and decided to CLEAN her fidget spinner by putting it in her mouth.  She's 10.  Ten-year-olds do stuff like that.

Well one of the little bearings fell off and got lodged in her esophagus.  She could still breathe, but she was turning red and drooling, so her mom rushed her to the hospital where she needed emergency surgery to have it removed.

Fortunately, she's okay, but take this as a warning:  Tell your kid to keep their fidget spinner out of their mouth.
