A Guy Sacrificed His $70,000 Tesla to Save Someone's Life

41-year-old Manfred Kick was driving his Tesla on the Autobahn in Germany on Monday night, and another car started swerving around, and bouncing off the guardrail.

The other driver was a 47-year-old guy who'd lost consciousness.  Apparently he had a stroke.  Manfred pulled up next to him, and could see him slumped over in his seat.  So he called it in, but he knew someone needed to stop the guy's car immediately.

So even though he was in a $70,000 Tesla, he passed him on the right, pulled in front of him and let the guy rear-end him.  He started tapping his brakes until the guy's car hit his back bumper.  Then he kept doing it until both cars stopped.

Paramedics got the guy to a hospital, and they think it's very possible Manfred saved his life.

It's not clear how banged up his car was afterward, but Tesla's CEO Elon Musk tweeted about it on Wednesday, and said HE'S paying for all the repairs.

The Grocery Bagger Champion Is. . . . . .

An Ohio college student has been named the nation's top grocery bagger.

BRADY LONG is a twenty-three year-old accounting student out of the University of Akron, and he’s a bagger at Buehler's Fresh Foods. He competed against two dozen other baggers at the National Grocers Association's Best Bagger championship in Las Vegas this past weekend.

Contestants were judged on speed, technique, style, attitude, and other factors.  Long took home top honors and a $10-thousand dollar grand prize.  It's his second time winning the prize.

He plans to use the money to buy a new car to replace his 21-year-old van.

A Guy Shot Himself While Making a Bullet Necklace for Valentine's Day

Did you have a hard time finding something to buy for Valentine's Day this year?

You still did better than this guy:  A 50-year-old guy in Toronto was trying to make a necklace out of a BULLET on Tuesday.  Which is just what every girl wants.

Unfortunately, he wasn't careful enough while he was pulling it apart with vice grips.  So the bullet EXPLODED . . . and he accidentally shot himself in the leg.

The bullet and some of the casing fragments ended up in his thigh.  He had to have surgery to remove them, but he should be okay.
